About Him
I am an outdoors, sun averse, easy-going type and looking for female friends with heart and a mind of their own. I have travelled quite a bit in my life and have lived in Europe for 3Y then in Canada. Although I live in South Africa now, I am a European in mind. Being Afrikaans myself, sadly, I think it is a dying language & culture - because there is too little that bolsters it. It is with my 'partner', friends, then the nature and weather of SA where my loyalty lies.
About 2y ago I returned from living in British Columbia, Canada (By the way in Canada where I lived, I saw burglar bars only three times in 6 years! - it made me realize one should not have to live like this as we do here!) - Enough of politics! There is a big difference to what I consider justified and what suits me! I am capable of holding issues separate. OK, so I am philosophical, so what else?
My private time? Well, alone when I am not out for a swim or a paddle on my kayak-(that is why I am on this date site - to remedy that!) I like curling up with a good thriller and...., soft music, perhaps a glass of red. However, for me, a life shared is better.
The arts provide joy, and if you paint, sing or dance or even just appreciate it, that is a Plus for me (no, I am not an artist of any kind myself). I am a non-smoker and smoking is as much a 'deal breaker' as is rap music, or people making their body into a pincushion. Pubs are fun at times but I'd much rather open a bottle of red at home and listen to what you have to say.
NO religion have monopoly over God. The human spirit is precious and my partner will know that hers are even more so.
