About Him
I'm looking for an open-minded friend, whom I can spend time with, grab a cup of coffee, go for a walk etc. In my opinion, we can just hang out together, on later dates and if the unfathomable 'chemistry' rhymes for us then we take it to the next level -
It is with my future partner and friends that my loyalty lies.
I like to think I'm a rational thinker even though there is a big difference between what I consider justified and what suits me! I am capable of keeping issues separate in my mind. OK, so I am philosophical, so what else?
My private time and joys? Well, being without a partner I like to go walking, swimming, boogie boarding (gave up trying to learn how to surf properly) -I'm not Mr. Fit, just like keeping healthy! - At home, being slightly introverted, I like curling up with a good thriller and...., soft music, perhaps (hopefully!) a glass of red or beer.
Being single offers many blessings and freedom, however, for me, a life shared is better and more enriching. I'm out of a long-term relationship and value, caring, openness, trust, and good values very highly.
The arts provide joy, and if you paint, sing etc or even just appreciate it, that is a big Plus for to share with me (no, I am not an artist myself). I am a non-smoker and smoking is as much a 'deal breaker' as is rap music and tattoos, or people making their body into a pincushion. Pubs are fun at times but I'd much rather open a bottle of red at home and listen to what you have to say, and if you don't feel like talking then let us watch some Netflix or read. My idea of hell is being caught in a sports bar with TVs blaring.
I think no religion has a monopoly over God. The human spirit is precious and my partner will know that she has become precious to me - but I want to start off just with friendship with someone to laugh and appreciate what life throws at us.
